Objectives

By the end of the Economics program graduates should be able to
  • Use both analytical and scientific research methodologies in problem solving on both micro and macro levels.
  • Understand and analyze individuals, entities, and government behavior in different economic decisions such as consumption, production, pricing.

  • Estimate and analyze macroeconomic variables such as Gross Domestic Product, inflation rate, unemployment, public budget, and Balance of Payments.

Upon completion of the Economics Program, students will be able to:
  • Outline various economic principles and theories in different sub-fields of economics.
  • Explain simple mathematical, verbal, and diagrammatic methods of analysis on both micro and macro levels.
  • Understand economic issues related to decision-making, production, pricing and trade on both the macro and micro levels.

  • Identify macro-economic facts related to macro-economic issues such as Balance of Payment, National Income and growth, Unemployment, Income Distribution, Inflation, public finance and its impact on business environment.
  • Realize the mechanism of different financial markets such as Banking sector, Stock market, and foreign exchange market.

In FCMC, students gain hands-on experience with top-tier equipment and industry-standard software, mastering every stage of podcast production—from concept development and scriptwriting to recording and post-production. Beyond podcasting, our Center hosts interactive workshops on crucial aspects of media production. These workshops cover audio engineering, video editing, storytelling, interviewing techniques, and podcast distribution strategies, empowering students with essential knowledge and skills.
